What is a branded video?

This video is produced for a brand in an organic documentary style. This genre is increasingly popular because it doesn’t push an advertising message front and centre. This branded video could be six minutes long but clipable for social media. It should be a character-driven story.

There are usually three types of branded video.

The first would be a character story with no product placement. The story would align the brand with the story and is, for the client, the bravest but potentially most effective way of presenting the brand.

The second would be a customer testimonial. Your best advertising is always your customers. This type would have medium product placement but maybe tell your customer’s story.

The third type is a product hero story: A person who talks you through your product's advantages, including details and advice. For this type, there is usually full product placement.
